What I can’t answer
I can’t give individual tax or investment advice. For example, I can’t answer questions like these:
- “How much should I donate with furusato nozei?”
- “Which fund should I buy in my NISA?”
- “Do I need to file a tax return in my situation?”
For your own taxes, ask a licensed tax accountant (zeirishi, 税理士) or your local tax office. For pensions, contact the Japan Pension Service. For a specific account, contact the bank or broker directly.
